FA Respect codes of conduct

Paul Kenyon21 Sep 2021 - 09:00

To ensure that everyone involved within a football club or league is playing their part to give the players a positive experience.

90% of children play better with positivity
- FA Respect Campaign - We Only Do Positive

Below, and in our Documents section of the website, under Information, you'll find information for Coaches, Players, Parents and Spectators

Please play your part by supporting the FA's Code of Respect.

Parents & Spectators - Please follow these guidelines:

  • Have fun; it's what we're all here for!
  • Celebrate effort and good play from both sides
  • Always respect the Referee and coaches and encourage players to do the same
  • Stay behind the touchline and within the Designated Spectators' Area (where provided)
  • When players make mistakes, offer them encouragement to try again next time
  • Never engage in, or tolerate offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour
  • I will make myself familiar with safeguarding practices & review guidance on physical contact

Please also go through the guidance for young players with your children.
Thanks,
Albury FC
